Alliance to MedChi
Physicians' Spouses Dedicated to the Health of America.

What We Do
As a statewide organization, we serve as a coordinating body to provide communication between the county and national alliances. In this capacity we provide.

	support of the medical profession by promoting its programs, priorities, and goals;
	a support network for our members by offering information and understanding of the professional problems facing today's physician;
	information on health-related topics relevant to the profession;
	leadership training and seminars for county officers and members;
	assistance to counties in implementing local programs and projects.

Alliance Goals
The goals of the Alliance shall be to:

	promote educational and charitable projects for the health and welfare of all the people;
	assist in programs of MedChi that improve the health and quality of life for all;
	raise funds for support the MedChi, Center for a Healthy Maryland and participate in such activities that are necessary to advance their programs;
	promote health education;
	advocate for the interests of the medical profession in matters relating to legislation and public relations;
	promote activities and participate in programs that provide financial support for medical education;
	encourage participation in federated activities that meet health needs;
	support health related charitable endeavors;
	advise and coordinate federated activities of component alliances when called upon;
	promote and stimulate the organization or reorganization of component alliances and;
	promote a positive image of the physician and his or her family in our communities.
